Yoga Meetup on the bay - Coconut Grove Sun Mar 9

For our next meetup we will meet at Kennedy Park in Coconut Grove at 10:30 am on Sunday March 9. It is still getting too dark this time of year to do it on a week night as we have before. I'll teach a vinyasa then gentle Yin Yoga for about an hour (no fee) and then, we will go have a coffee or a light lunch. Come and bring a friend!

Bring a large beach towel or your mat. Remember sunscreen if you use it. Kennedy Park is located on the Bay in Coconut Grove. We will meet near the water in the area that is directly in front of the parking lot - past the dog park, directly on the bay. (Please note if you have been to these before - this is our first location next to the dog park - the one over the bridge was hard for some people to find). Afterwards we will go have coffee together.

To get there from the north take I-95 south until it become S. Dixie Hwy. Go 0.8 miles to SW 17th Ave. Turn left and go to S. Bayshore Dr. Take a right and go a half mile to the parking lot at 2200 S. Bayshore. This lot is often full. Continue down and more parking is on your left

From the south take S. Dixie Hwy north to Bird Ave. Take a right onto Bird and continue to SW 27th Ave. Continue through intersection and road will become Aviation Ave. Follow Aviation, bearing to the right, until it ends in S. Bayshore Dr. Turn left on S. Bayshore - although you go 0.4 miles to to the parking lot at 2200 S. Bayshore - you may want to park in the lot before that... leave a few minutes to find a spot.
