Additional Information
"Yoga is about enjoying the bliss that existing brings. Yes, the world seems crazy and filled with suffering, but look beyond your own biases and limitations and be amazed at all the permutations that reality is, and wonder at what it means to "be"."

Introduction
Howdy! My name is Jason (obviously) and I live in Arvada. During the day I work as a programmer at Raytheon, but at night I'm a vigilante crime-fighter that swoops do-- wait, that's Batman.
What are some interesting yoga experiences you've had?

I had never been huge into meditation, though I've always questioned existence, who I am, why I am, etc. However, after a nasty point in my life I began delving into the benefits of meditation and my perception of the world has drastically changed!

Do you have any "problem" areas in your body that are a concern?

Lower back injury about 5 years ago that I had to have surgery for (lamenectomy between L4 and L5 if you really care). Yoga has helped TONS in keeping that area strong and healthy.

What style or styles of yoga do you do?

Hatha, Ashtanga (my home practice), and a bit of Kundalini meditation thrown in ;)

How often do you practice?

Every day. You don't have to do asanas to be doing yoga. Simply sitting at your desk or in your car, connecting your awareness with your breath and being aware of the real you that lives inside is practicing what yoga is all about.

How long have you been doing yoga?

Formally since I was 21, so about 14 years. Though ever since I was like seven or eight and rebelled against the Catholic upbringing being forced upon me have I "followed" what the eastern philosophies of Shaivism, Buddhism and yoga teach.

  •  Hey jason. I was wondering where you teach. I really enjoyed your yoga session this past fall.
