About The Philadelphia Yoga Meetup Group
Philly Yoga Meetup is a social group of yoga buffs who get together about once a month for an activity. Every month we'll have a different activity, ranging from joining class at various area yoga studios to seeing movies and going on hikes, and then we go out to eat. I will try to alternate between Philadelphia and suburban locations every other month.
We've had a lot of fun trying out different studios and styles of yoga and getting to know yoga teachers and each other. Bringing people together and to yoga is what we are all about. See below for a listing of recent events.
The owners of the Meetup website charge Group Organizers like me a $9/month website maintenance fee, which I am supposed to collect from Members in the form of an event fee or membership fee, thus, the Suggested Donation of $6/year. This should be better than having an extra fee at every Meetup on top of the yoga studio charge. I hope that this arrangement will work out for everyone. Please bring payment to a Meetup event or mail to Tuli Ahmed, PO Box 2112, Blue Bell, PA 19422. Include your email address for confirmation of payment received.
