Who should come: The first Sunday of the month at the Bodhi Tree Yoga Centre is dedicated to Karma Yoga. The Bodhi Tree Yoga Centre has recently celebrated it's first anniversary and has moved into a 'green materials' space.

Why: While this yoga centre may be a bit out of the way for some of our 'downtown' Ottawa yogis, it's well worth the effort to make it out to this class. These Karma Yoga classes are run for free, donations accepted for a local charity.

Meeting Description: Join Gayle on the first Sunday of the month for Karma Yoga classes. You will be lead through 90 minutes of Hatha yoga -- a great way to start the day.

Karma Yoga is the yoga of action and is usually volunteer work (selfless service) for most yogis. The classes are held for free and donations are accepted for the local charity of choice for that month. An energy exchange is customary for yoga classes.

I do encourage carpooling out to this event. If you are willing to drive some fellow yogis to the Bodhi Tree Yoga Centre, then mention it in your RSVP.
